the fishes feed off of the things inside the pond. algae, smaller fish?
the bigger fishes don't seem to mind the other smaller fish. it also has to do with the fact that the smaller fish travel in little groups. so they had "Power in Numbers" while the bigger fishes could go around on their own.
symbioses - between the lilly pads and the fish = commensalism. the fishes get a home, shade, food (on the bottom?), and the lilly pads don't get destroyed unless humans come and stab at them.
competition - among the different species of fish. also among the birds and the turtles. the big fishes avoid each other. but i saw that the little fish ran away from them. the little fishes sometimes travel in little packs of fish, and as i said before, they seem to be able to travel safely with their Power in Numbers strategy.
invasive species - i didn't see any there. but its possible that the turtles are. they might have came in one day and stayed there. they can effect the niche/habitat by taking the fishes food, or changing the surroundings.
